 Coal tar sealant concentrate is usually mixed with sand, clay, and polymer additives to improve its durability and ease of application. 

That is a tough one to answer. Conditions vary based on slope, sun exposure, weather, traffic, coats applied last time etc.

To break it down under perfect conditions with average traffic if you apply 2 coats you could get up to 5 years between coats.

However with Harsher conditions and heavy traffic you might only see 2-3 years.
